Gary and Pamela Box own and operate Box Portrait Gallery in Sapulpa, OK, a town of 25,000 near Tulsa. The Boxes have a combined 38 years experience in the photography industry.

Gary Box is known nationally for his cutting edge portrait style and as a leader in photographic technology teaching. He has operated the studio in Sapulpa since 1989. He became one of the first portrait photographers in the country to start using the computer as a creative tool and to take control of his own retouching. He, in fact, has written five Photoshop books teaching other photographers his techniques and teaches workshops all over the country.

Pamela Box owned and operated Kamies Portrait Gallery for ten years in Sioux City, Iowa. Her fresh creative approach put her as the top demanded studio in the area. Pamela has a way of reaching the depth of the soul and capturing emotion in each image she creates. She has won state and national recognition for her creative and artistic style.

Pamela and Gary were married and she moved to Oklahoma in early 2002. The combination of the two artists creates a powerful combination of creativity, style and capabilities.

They have been featured speakers and instructors all over the country, sharing their knowledge at many state and national conventions. Gary received his PPA Craftsman Degree in 1998 and Pamela received her Masters Degree in 2008. Outside of work, Gary and Pamela enjoy spending time with their five children ranging in age from 8 to 11.
